Refrigerators are used to store almost all kinds of food. Yet, although well designed, they are not able to exclude various odors because of the circulation of cold air. If bamboo charcoal or its modified product is used in a refrigerator, these odors can be excluded through absorption action. Consequently, bamboo charcoal is also used in manufacturing different health care products to regulate people's microsurroundings. It is often laid under indoor flooring or placed behind wallboards.
